ASUS, "aspiring alliteration", Cracking Down on Rooting New Firmware Update by deleting old firmware? Not to worry find them here.
I'm not sure why ASUS is so adament about not letting people have the equivalent of an administrator account on Windows 7, but it appears they do not want you to have Super User on Linuxed based Android.
They just took down links to old rootable firmwares from their site. Luckily an XDA Member bpear96 put together this list of mirrors for .15.

ASUS has thrown down the gauntlet, don't lose Devs you're in the right. Let them explain why they are artificially limiting our access to a device we paid IN FULL for.btw asus thanks for my prime design its a great piece of tech though i hope is durable.
